Physiographic Relief Map Of New Jersey Made By Far Hills Country Day School Third Graders

• Hershey's Kisses for mountains, chocolate rocks for rocks, blue licorice for rivers = Ridge and Valley
• Green nonpareils for forested hills, yellow nonpareils for ore deposits, and blue sugar for lakes = Highlands
• Caramels for buildings, black licorice for highways, yellow candy star for Trenton
• Green sugar, candy pumpkins and red hots (tomatoes) = inner coastal plain and NJ farmland
• Brown sugar, cut up gum, candy fish = outer coastal plain
• Brown sugar, spearmint trees, gummy frogs = pine barrens
